Academic Competitions

Students in grades 5-6-7 participated in our Jeopardy Competitions, with questions mainly coming from the school books of each grade level and we added in general knowledge questions of our own.

Teams to be Proud of

ISC-Cairo’s teams continue to make us proud with their continued success. The latest team to do so was the Under 16 (Junior Varsity) Boys Volleyball team who won the recent Cairo International Schools’ Sports Association (CISSA) volleyball championships. This is the 3rd time in three years that ISC-Cairo has won this competition!!!

Planning and Preparing

Thorough preparation precedes teaching in the SABIS^® Educational System. Every course is researched, structured, and described in terms of clearly stated objectives (points). Before implementation, each course must meet the following criteria:

It is complete: it includes all the 'points' to be taught and the skills to be developed
It is detailed: each objective is precise and measurable
It is paced: progress is charted against a timeline
It dovetails with that of the following stage, ensuring that nothing essential to further learning is omitted and enabling a smooth and successful transition from one year to the next.
