Discipline

ISC - Egypt is a caring community that strongly believes in the principles of respect, responsibility, and accountability. Out of these beliefs, ISC - Egypt follows a disciplinary code that aims to develop students into future world citizens who will be responsible members of society, respecting both themselves and others. Those who contravene this disciplinary code are held accountable and are all expected to accept the consequences of their actions and be responsible for improving their behavior.

The ISC - Egypt disciplinary code is strict, but it is reasonable and fair. Detention is the most commonly used form of disciplinary action and is always used in a positive, logical, and consistent manner. Students may be detained during school hours, after school, or during weekends and for increasingly longer periods. Corporal punishment is never used. Parents are also made aware of serious disciplinary issues and, as necessary, requested to contribute to the solution.
